In line with strengthening scientific diplomacy, optimizing admission processes, and enhancing internationalization indicators in higher education, a joint meeting of the Educational and Research Council of the Faculty of Language and Literature with the University’s International Relations Management was held on Tir 28, 1405 (July 2026) at the Gouran Hall of the Faculty.

At the beginning of this meeting, the Dean of the Faculty presented a comprehensive report on the statistics and status of international students and its alignment with the university's macro goals, emphasizing the need for a strategic perspective by senior managers toward the Faculty of Language and Literature. Pointing out the high concentration of non-Iranian students in this academic unit, he considered the authenticity verification of international theses as a key pillar in safeguarding the university's academic credibility, stating that a precise and systematic pathology in this field is inevitable.

Subsequently, Dr. Hossein Bivarani, the University's Director of International Relations, while confirming the prominent position of the Faculty, analyzed the existing challenges in managing international students. He outlined the various dimensions of these obstacles and proposed appropriate executive solutions to resolve current problems and facilitate administrative and educational processes.

The final part of the session was dedicated to specialized exchanges of views, where Dr. Heyman Nourbakhsh, the Director of International Students, along with other members of the Faculty’s Educational and Research Council, presented their viewpoints and corrective solutions regarding the enhancement of educational service quality, the development of research standards, and the facilitation of the academic path for non-Iranian students.
