In the past two centuries, universities have served as the main scientific, research, technological, and cultural centers. Testable interpretations on various subjects are made possible within academic institutions, leaving a significant impact. The University of Kurdistan began its independent activity in 1992, possessing the structured framework of a university and acting as the principal academic institution in the province, entrusted with governmental responsibilities in the field of higher education.
