Vision
In the future, the Faculty of Agriculture, drawing on the scientific expertise of more than seventy capable faculty members, specialized educational groups, and advanced educational and research infrastructure, aims to become a leading, authoritative, and influential institution in agricultural education and research, horticulture, livestock production, and related industries at the provincial, national, and regional levels, with an active presence internationally. By relying on up-to-date knowledge, innovation, applied research, the expansion of international activities, and an effective role in scientific diplomacy, the faculty seeks to strengthen its position within the country's higher education system and play a prominent role in the advancement of third-generation universities, the development of new agricultural and animal husbandry technologies, sustainable development, food security, and the preservation of natural resources. Cultivating capable, creative, responsible, and entrepreneurial graduates who can be effective in the scientific, administrative, and technological fields of the country and region is one of the main pillars of this vision.

The mission of the Faculty of Agriculture is to train specialized, committed, and efficient human resources at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in various fields of agriculture, horticulture, livestock production, and related industries by providing high-quality education, targeted research, and problem-oriented scientific activities. By utilizing the capabilities of faculty members, developing educational and research infrastructure, laboratory facilities, farms, and greenhouses, and strengthening effective communication with the executive, production, research, and educational sectors of the country, this faculty takes steps to address the problems and challenges of the agricultural, horticultural, and livestock production sectors of the province and country, increase productivity, develop new technologies, protect water and soil resources, improve farmers' livelihoods, and respond to the needs of society. Expanding domestic and international scientific cooperation, attracting foreign students, promoting the scientific position in reputable global rankings, and fulfilling the university's social mission are other key areas of the Faculty of Agriculture's mission.
