Faculty of Agriculture Introduction

The Faculty of Agriculture is one of the first faculties established at the University of Kurdistan, with approximately 8,742 square meters of educational, laboratory, administrative, and service space, 1,200 square meters of greenhouse space, and 805 square meters of workshop space. The faculty has 10 educational departments, including the departments of Animal Science, Plant Production Engineering and Genetics, Plant Medicine, Horticultural Science and Engineering, Water Science and Engineering, Soil Science and Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension and Education, Biosystems Engineering, and Food Science and Industry. The faculty consists of 74 experienced professors and motivated and hardworking young people, of whom 10 hold the academic degree of Professor, 38 hold the academic degree of Associate Professor, 16 hold the academic degree of Assistant Professor, and one person is working as an instructor. The faculty also has 23 administrative personnel and laboratory experts.
