Office of the Director General of Academic Affairs

This unit holds the overall responsibility for matters concerning the university's students and graduates. Its most important duties include the registration and admission of new students each academic year,
 processing academic exemptions from military service for male students, managing guest student and transfer affairs, handling changes of major,
 recording grades for guest students or course equivalencies, issuing temporary and official graduation certificates, issuing various confirmations, and corresponding with departments and organizations outside the university.

     Coordinating tasks referred by the director among staff, issuing orders or signing letters on behalf of the director,
 handling administrative tasks including requests on the Golestan system and the Special Cases Committee system, and verifying the graduation status from non-profit institutions.

      Coordinating in-person appointments with the Director of Academic Affairs, handling phone calls and faxes,
 and assisting with the collection of fees for certificate issuance and stamps for graduates.

     Implementing the academic calendar in the Golestan system; assisting and resolving system-related issues for students and faculty academic staff during educational processes such as new student registration, course selection (add/drop), faculty evaluations, etc.; preparing statistics and reports for various university units; and troubleshooting issues with the Golestan and administrative automation systems for department colleagues.

       Registering, distributing, and mailing incoming and outgoing correspondence in the university's administrative automation system; receiving and sending ministerial correspondence through the Ministry of Science's automation system (ERP).
