Aiming to Familiarize Students with Scientific and Educational Capacities:

Students from Mariwan Visit the University of Kurdistan

A group of students from the Shayestegan Exemplary State Girls' High School in Mariwan visited various departments of the University of Kurdistan to gain insight into academic environments and degree programs. This scientific initiative was organized to provide academic guidance and motivate the future generation.

According to the Public Relations office of the University of Kurdistan, during this scientific visit held on Sunday, February 18, 2026 (29 Bahman 1404), the students visited the Faculties of Engineering and Art & Architecture, where they gained firsthand exposure to educational spaces, specialized workshops, and scientific activities.

As the program continued, the students visited the Institute of Kurdistan Studies located within the Faculty of Humanities. During this segment, they had the opportunity to meet and engage in a dialogue with "Mamusta Majed Mardokh Rohani." He extended a warm welcome to the students and shared scholarly insights regarding the history, culture, and identity of the Kurdistan region, which were highly appreciated by the attendees.

The final portion of the visit was dedicated to exploring the central library and faculty halls, providing the students with an overview of the research facilities and scientific infrastructure available at the University of Kurdistan.

It is noteworthy that such periodic visits are conducted to bridge the gap between schools and universities, facilitate informed decision-making for students' academic futures, and familiarize them with professional academic settings.
