Introduction to the University Health, Treatment, and Counseling Center
The University Health, Treatment, and Counseling Center, as one of the key units of the Vice-Presidency for Cultural-Social and Student Affairs, operates with the aim of promoting the physical, mental, and social health of students and staff, providing preventive, therapeutic, and counseling services, and creating a healthy and dynamic environment in the university. With a comprehensive and student-centered approach, this center strives to cover the health, treatment, and psychological needs of the university community in the best possible way.Duties and Responsibilities of the University Health, Treatment, and Counseling Center:

Monitoring and addressing the mental, psychological, and health status of students and providing necessary guidance in various fields (physical health, nutrition, personal hygiene, disease prevention, stress management, and psychological disorders).

Continuous supervision over compliance with environmental health principles in self-service cafeterias, dormitories, buffets, classrooms, laboratories, and other university-owned premises in cooperation with the Student Affairs Management and other relevant units, and proposing corrective measures in case of deficiencies.

Providing, coordinating, and delivering health and treatment services to students and university staff with optimal and accessible quality.

Conducting individual and group counseling services with students, and if necessary with their families, in order to identify, raise awareness of, and resolve academic, psychological, family, emotional, and social problems.

Establishing effective communication and coordination with various university units (vice-presidencies, faculties, dormitory management, cultural affairs, etc.) to create synergy and improve the implementation of extracurricular activities related to health and hygiene.

Forecasting, provisioning, preparing, and distributing required medicines, hygiene supplies, and medical equipment, along with precise supervision over consumption, expiration dates, and preventing misuse or waste.

Providing outpatient examination and treatment services to students and staff at the center's clinic.

Recording, maintaining, and accurately updating the medical and treatment records of students and staff while fully respecting information confidentiality.

Following up on the status of students hospitalized in treatment centers outside the university, coordinating necessary supports, and facilitating the treatment process and their return to the university.

Reviewing and expressing expert opinions regarding medical certificates issued by physicians outside the center, within the framework of university rules and regulations.

Preparing and arranging a regular schedule for providing treatment, counseling, and laboratory services to students and staff and ensuring proper communication to the university community.

Continuous supervision and evaluation of the performance of physicians, counselors, psychologists, nurses, and other health-treatment personnel of the center to enhance service quality and comply with professional standards.

Holding regular classes, workshops, and awareness programs in the fields of promoting physical and mental health, addiction prevention, healthy relationships, sexual health, nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle for students and staff.

Establishing communication and cooperation with associations, institutions, organizations, departments, and health-treatment centers outside the university (provincial health and treatment departments, university of medical sciences, welfare organization, counseling centers, etc.) to utilize complementary capacities and services.

Preparing, compiling, and distributing journals, brochures, posters, and educational content tailored to the current needs of students and staff in both print and electronic formats.

Preparing and submitting comprehensive periodic and ad hoc reports to the Vice-Presidency for Cultural-Social and Student Affairs and other competent authorities regarding activities, challenges, statistics, and improvement proposals.

Performing other duties assigned by the higher authority and actively participating in university programs and activities related to health and hygiene.
