Introduction to the Cultural-Social Support and Backing Management
The Cultural-Social Support and Backing Management of the University of Kurdistan, as one of the specialized units of the Vice-Presidency for Cultural, Social, and Student Affairs, is responsible for planning, supporting, guiding, and developing cultural, social, artistic, and student activities within the university. By utilizing the capacity of students, organizations, scientific associations, cultural and artistic clubs, and other university groups, this management provides the ground for effective student participation in cultural and social activities. The main objective of this management is to enhance the cultural and social capital of the university, strengthen student identity, develop personal and social skills, and create a dynamic, creative, and participatory environment for all members of the university.

Duties and Areas of Activity Supporting and Developing Cultural and Social Activities:

• Supporting cultural, social, artistic, and student projects, programs, and activities.

• Supporting extracurricular cultural, scientific, research, and artistic programs.

• Developing and strengthening student groups, organizations, associations, and cultural clubs.

• Creating suitable grounds for student participation and social responsibility.

• Supporting the holding of specialized meetings, free-thinking forums, debates, and critique sessions.

Training and Empowerment:

• Planning and implementing cultural and social courses, workshops, and training.

• Identifying, guiding, and supporting the cultural and artistic talents of students.

• Cooperating with university units to upgrade students' personal and social skills.

• Holding specialized training courses for cultural, artistic, and social activists.

Supporting Student Activities:

• Supporting the establishment and activities of scientific associations and student publications.

• Supporting cultural and social programs in student dormitories.

• Supporting festivals, competitions, exhibitions, and cultural and artistic events.

• Encouraging students to participate in national and inter-university festivals, competitions, and events.

Planning and Executive Support:

• Planning and organizing educational, cultural, artistic, and pilgrimage field trips.

• Supporting occasional programs and university rituals/ceremonies.

• Cooperating in holding graduation ceremonies and university events.

• Preparing performance reports and evaluating cultural and social programs.

• Supervising the implementation of cultural and extracurricular activities across the university.
