Duties and Authorities

Managing all affairs related to the preparation and formulation of the university's plans, budget, administrative transformation, and productivity.

Collaboration with managers and unit heads in preparing and regulating the budget.

Reviewing and finalizing the detailed budget for operational expenditures and capital asset acquisitions with the relevant Ministry.

Reviewing and finalizing agreements for development activities with the National Management and Planning Organization.

Collecting and reviewing proposed budgets, plans, and credit requests from various units.
-
Consolidating and formulating proposed budgets in alignment with the university's overall goals and policies.

Defending the proposed budget before review authorities.

Communicating the approved budget to each unit and allocating approved credits on a quarterly basis.

Supervising the proper implementation of the budget by monitoring expenditure and assessing operational progress.

Reviewing and finalizing agreements related to current and developmental activities.

Preparing necessary statistics on the university's activities, personnel, and resources.

Continuously reviewing the organizational duties and workflows of the university and its units.

Conducting organizational analyses and estimating human resource needs in collaboration with the administrative directorate.

Continuously studying the organization and duties of subsidiary units to ensure proper division of tasks and prevent redundancy.

Planning for the improvement of work methods, administrative transformation, and productivity.

Preparing and regulating the organizational chart and posts in accordance with the duties of the units.

Preparing and regulating job descriptions for units and organizational posts and communicating them after approval by the Board of Trustees.

Reviewing proposals from units regarding changes to organizational posts and job descriptions.

Assessing staff training needs and implementing relevant programs.
-
Collaborating on job classification for staff and determining the occupational fields for organizational posts.

Actively participating in councils and committees and providing input on relevant issues.

Formulating the university's strategic and operational plans in partnership with relevant units.

Serving as the secretariat for the University Strategic Council and drafting its resolutions.

Supervising the implementation of improvement projects in line with the university's strategic plan.

Overseeing the administrative affairs and correspondence of the Board of Trustees and the Permanent Commission and communicating their resolutions.
-
Coordinating and gathering information for Board of Trustees meetings.
-
Performing other duties as assigned by the University President.
