Dr. Hamid Farvarsh Appointed as Deputy for Planning and Digital Transformation
Dr. Adel Si-o-Se Mardeh, President of the University of Kurdistan, issued a decree appointing Dr. Hamid Farvarsh as the acting Deputy for Planning and Digital Transformation for a period of two years, while he retains his educational and research responsibilities. This appointment is based on the directive from February of last year and his academic merits and capabilities.
The primary mission of this newly established deputyship is the integrated leadership of planning, budgeting, digital transformation, and organizational development, playing a pivotal role in designing the university's future. Aligning resource allocation with strategic goals and redesigning processes to reduce bureaucracy and increase efficiency are among the important tasks assigned to Dr. Farvarsh.
Furthermore, designing and implementing the university's digital transformation program by utilizing modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), alongside creating a data-driven decision-making platform, are key expectations in this management period. With a transformation-oriented approach, this deputyship is expected to become one of the main pillars of sustainable development and modern management at the university.
