According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Adel Si-o-Se-Marde, President of the University, hosted the Director-General of the provincial Technical and Vocational Training Organization in a meeting aimed at expanding educational and skill-based collaborations.

During the meeting, the President of the University of Kurdistan emphasized the importance of skill acquisition alongside theoretical education, stating, "The workshop capacities and equipment of the technical and vocational training centers provide a valuable opportunity for our students. In addition to scientific concepts, they need practical experience, and this interaction can serve as a successful model for bridging the gap between knowledge and practice."

Dr. Si-o-Se-Marde affirmed the university's full readiness to develop these collaborations, adding, "We seek to leverage these facilities to create a suitable platform for our students' more effective entry into the job market and to enhance their practical abilities."

In the same meeting, Seyed Ali Alavi, Director-General of Technical and Vocational Training in Kurdistan, highlighted past successful collaborations and stressed the need for a comprehensive memorandum of understanding. He announced his organization's readiness to offer diverse and practical skill-based training to students, including international students.

This strategic partnership is considered a significant step toward achieving the goals of an entrepreneurial university and meeting the specialized needs of the provincial and national job markets.
