According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, Dr. Jafar Abdollahzadeh, Associate Professor of the Department of Plant Protection at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kurdistan, has been appointed as a member of the editorial board of the prestigious international journal Persoonia.

The journal Persoonia, published by the National Herbarium Nederland in the Netherlands, is recognized as one of the premier specialized journals in the fields of molecular phylogeny, systematics, and evolution of fungi.

It is noteworthy that with an impact factor of 9.5 and a Q1 ranking, this journal is among the most authoritative scientific publications globally in the field of mycology.
