Dr. Adel Si-o-se-marda, President of the University of Kurdistan, has issued separate decrees to structurally merge the university's technological sectors, appointing a new director for the integrated unit as well as an acting head for the Department of Islamic Studies. He further expressed his appreciation for the dedicated services of the outgoing directors.

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, the “Technology Units Incubator Center” and the “Innovation and Technology Development Center” have been merged to establish the “Directorate of Entrepreneurship Development, Incubators, and Innovation.” This restructuring aims to enhance organizational agility and foster synergy across technological activities.

The President of the University of Kurdistan appointed Dr. Zahed Shami as the Acting Director of this newly formed directorate. Dr. Si-o-se-marda also commended the valuable contributions of Dr. Sara Soleimani during her tenure as the Director of the Technology Incubator Center, and Dr. Navid Rezaei for his leadership at the Innovation and Technology Development Center.

In a related administrative development, the President appointed Dr. Ali Salahshour as the new Acting Head of the Department of Islamic Studies. He also extended his gratitude to Dr. Fatemeh Kiani for her service and commitment during her leadership of the department.
