During the eighth session of the seventh term of the University of Kurdistan's Academic Audit Board, the academic promotion of three faculty members was approved.

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, the eighth meeting of the seventh term of the University's Academic Audit Board was held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, chaired by the University President and attended by board members at the President's Office. Following a review of the submitted dossiers, the promotion of three faculty members was approved as follows:

A) Promotion from Associate Professor to Professor:

• Dr. Mohammad Rahman Rahimi; Faculty member of the Department of Sports Sciences

• Dr. Roshan Khoshnavazi; Faculty member of the Department of Chemistry

B) Promotion from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor:

• Dr. Hemen Mohammadi; Faculty member of the Department of Physical Education
