With High Participation of Faculty Members;
"Advanced Lesson Planning for Effective Teaching" Workshop Held at the University of Kurdistan
According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, this empowerment course took place on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (30 Ordibehesht 1405), from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM via the university's e-learning platform. Due to its significant role in enhancing the quality of academic instruction, the workshop was met with high interest from professors.
Dr. Ali Khorsandi, Associate Professor of Educational Policy Studies at Allameh Tabataba'i University and Head of the Institute for Research and Planning in Higher Education, served as the instructor for this specialized workshop.
Focusing on modern higher education models, he detailed the following key topics:

Reverse Engineering in Instructional Design: How to formulate learning objectives aligned with the needs of the labor market and society.

Modern Continuous Assessment Tools: Implementing dynamic student evaluation methods throughout the semester.

Classroom Activation Techniques: Strategies to increase student engagement and transition away from traditional one-way teaching environments.
The virtual format of the course enabled faculty members from various departments of the University of Kurdistan to participate simultaneously in an integrated, interactive environment. The strong presence of participants, the posing of challenging scientific questions by professors, and the exchange of educational experiences were prominent features of this two-hour session, which garnered highly positive feedback in the final survey.
