Addressing a mass public gathering in the city of Sanandaj, a faculty member of the University of Kurdistan described the solidarity of the Iranian nation as a "historical miracle" and identified the preservation of national unity as the most critical necessity for the country today. He stated that the continuous presence of the people in the public sphere reflects the depth of the Iranian nation’s revolutionary convictions.

University of Kurdistan Faculty Member Emphasizes National Unity as a Strategic Imperative during Public Gathering

According to a report by the University of Kurdistan Public Relations, Hojatoleslam val-Moslemin Mahmoud Safizadeh, speaking on the evening of Sunday, April 26, at a large demonstration in support of Islamic Iran, asserted: "At no point in history can a nation be found that remains in the arena with such cohesion and persistence, increasing the intensity of its presence day by day." He emphasized that the paramount counsel of the leaders of the Revolution is the preservation of national unity, adding: "The greatest 'virtue' (Ma’ruf) in society today is safeguarding national unity, and the greatest 'vice' (Munkar) is fueling division and ethnic, religious, or political schisms."

The University of Kurdistan faculty member warned against any form of discord, stating that any voice inciting division serves the enemy's objectives, necessitating public vigilance. Hojatoleslam Safizadeh further highlighted the dismantling of manufactured dualities, noting that the Iranian nation has transcended various imposed polarizations, such as the divides between people and officials, men and women, different generations, and even the perceived confrontation between Iranian identity and Islam.

He emphasized the increasingly prominent role of women, noting that the public has realized that officials have emerged from the heart of society and stand at the front lines of national defense. Regarding the role of women in recent developments, he remarked: "The women of this land are not merely supporters but pioneers of social and revolutionary movements; their presence is the driving engine of society." He also rejected claims of a "generation gap," stating that today’s youth participate with a revolutionary spirit even more fervent than previous generations, signifying the continuity of the Revolution’s social capital.

Furthermore, Hojatoleslam Safizadeh pointed to the synergy between "the field" and diplomacy, stating: "Operational actions and diplomatic activities are complementary, and this coordination has doubled the power of the Islamic Republic." He argued that the enemy’s sole remaining tactic to strike the nation is creating internal division, as unity has consistently thwarted their plans. To counter this, he proposed two primary strategies: "management of thought" and "management of speech." He urged the public to be cautious of their mental inputs and reject false analyses and news, as the acceptance of rumors paves the way for erroneous judgments and conflict.

He continued: "Controlling one’s speech is equally vital, as the dissemination of incorrect statements and the leveling of accusations against individuals or officials can exacerbate social divisions." Emphasizing the unified identity of the nation, Hojatoleslam Safizadeh declared: "Beyond political categorizations, the Iranian nation is a unified Ummah that takes pride in its Iranian heritage and religious beliefs." He added that in Iranian culture, defending the homeland is a sacred value rooted in historical and religious convictions.

In conclusion, the University of Kurdistan faculty member referred to recent enemy efforts to create a "hardline vs. moderate" binary as a scenario designed to mask their failures. He reiterated that the Iranian nation’s definitive response to such conspiracies will be the preservation of unity, cohesion, and continued progress along the path of dignity and authority.
