By Virtue of Decrees Issued by the University President;
New Managerial and Academic Appointments Formally Effected at the University of Kurdistan
Dr. Adel Siose-Mardeh, President of the University of Kurdistan, has issued a series of distinct decrees appointing new directors and heads for various academic and administrative units. These appointments are strategically designed to advance developmental initiatives and enhance the qualitative standards of the university’s scientific endeavors and infrastructural capacities.
According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, following the official decrees issued by the Presidency, structural changes have been implemented across the academic, research, and managerial sectors, with the newly appointed officials formally commencing their professional duties.
In the domain of academic departments, Dr. Mehrdad Gholami has been appointed as the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering (Power and Control), with formal recognition extended to Dr. Hadi Tarimoradi for his dedicated service during his tenure. Furthermore, while commending the contributions of Dr. Heibatollah Sadeghi, Dr. Shokoufeh Zamani Kasbi has been introduced as the new Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering. In continuation of these administrative transitions, Dr. Zana Mozaffari has assumed the leadership of the Department of Economics, a position previously held by Dr. Saman Ghaderi.
Regarding the development of agricultural and educational infrastructure, Dr. Hossein Jahani Azizabadi was appointed as the official in charge of establishing the Dehgolan Farm dairy unit, and Dr. Gholamreza Heidari was appointed as the Head of the Faculty of Agriculture’s Educational Farm to oversee the operational and pedagogical processes of these facilities.
In the executive and technical management sector, Eng. Reza Esfahani was appointed by the President's decree as the Director of Information Technology and Cybersecurity at the University of Kurdistan.
