Introduction to the Office of Society and Industry Relations, University of Kurdistan

The Office of Society and Industry Relations at the University of Kurdistan was established in 1399 (2020) with the objective of transforming the University of Kurdistan into a community-oriented and entrepreneurial institution. The primary goals and missions of this office include: developing cooperation with executive agencies by pursuing the objectives of the National Society and University Network; advancing the goals of the University of Kurdistan Supporters Foundation and fulfilling the university's social responsibility towards society; managing the affairs of the University of Kurdistan Alumni Association; facilitating career empowerment and monitoring the employment status of graduates; supporting and promoting demand-driven scientific and research activities; facilitating and expanding collaborations between the university, society, and industry through sabbatical leaves for faculty members; monitoring the status of industry-relation contracts; and organizing as well as enhancing the quantitative and qualitative standards of student internship programs.
